This is like a tropical version of Reach For The Stars from Sonic Colors, awesome stuff man :o

Zinitymusic responds:

Thank you so much!

Pretty awesome stuff :O

Those glitchy parts kept startling me, I felt like my earbuds were possessed while I listened to this in the background xD

But I really enjoyed this regardless. Nice collab, you guys! :)

RealMrSnuggles responds:

Thank you!

Awesome stuff!! Idk how to describe this, but I feel like there's a lack of a feeling of urgency in this battle theme. Like, it's only fast-paced, and there's little to no powerful percussion which I feel would really make this track have a sense of epicness.

Otherwise, friggin' amazing, those melodic components are far beyond anything I'm doin' xD

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you! I can see what you're saying about the urgency, although I would argue I wasn't necessarily going for that kind of epic and stressful vibe, but a little bit more of a light-hearted one!

That said, I agree that there could be some more powerful percussion at points. It's tricky to balance so many elements at once, so I definitely have to get better at that :D

Gosh dang, I thought one of my earbuds stopped working in the beginning xD

Nice song past that point though, very awesome stuff both melodically and rhythmically >:)

Banana-head responds:

Yeah the panned guitars might confuse at first, thanks for the review!

This clips too much, but I love the melodic components! Very awesome percussion as well :)

Also the growls sound pretty wonky with the filters, might wanna change that as well

Sicarius771 responds:

I did notice some clipping, so sorry bout that. I’m glad you liked the melody and percussions :))
And I do need to work on growls. It’s the second one I’ve made so idk how to get it sounding good but I don’t wanna steal someone else’s and I can’t use serum so .-.
Anyway glad you enjoyed :)

So fitting, I love this :O

Albe responds:

Thank you so much!!

I REALLY enjoy the melodic components, but it either sounds like there's too much mid end, low end, or both, and I barely hear any stereo separation. Other than that, pretty awesome stuff!

OmegaT responds:

I realized after I uploaded it that I exported the track with the compressor turned off, not sure if changing the file on newgrounds updates the whole track, but I've switched the file with the correct one.

Thanks for the review :D!

Amazing work!! :O
Usually songs don't do this for me, but I actually finished listening to the whole thing! It's just so cool and it varies like crazy while still maintaining a common (and awesome) theme :)

Preds responds:

Thank you! Glad you liked it

Wow, I was literally thinking "this sounds a lot like my favorite entry from Pixel Day 2019", and then I look at who made that. It was indeed your 2nd place entry!

Well I'm pretty impressed by this as well. Very awesome stuff :)

As for me, I've finished my Pixel Day 2020 entry, but I wasn't sure if I could post it yet because of the strange wording on the contest page that said to post entries ON the 23rd instead of BY.

Well, guess I'll do that now! Again, super catchy stuff! Really enjoyed it!

Preds responds:

Thank you man! I appreciate it :D Looking forward to listen your entry!

Using emoticons like there's no tomorrow!
